About the Falls

Coomera Falls is a segmented waterfall on the Coomera River that plunges into the gorge below. Adjacent to the falls is the equally impressive Yarrabilgong Falls, both of which can be viewed from the cantilevered Coomera Falls Lookout. The dramatic gorge and waterfall system showcase millions of years of erosion through ancient volcanic rock formations.

The Coomera Circuit leaves the Border Track approximately 1.9 kilometres from the Binna Burra trailhead before descending through rainforest to the spectacular Coomera Falls Lookout. The trail then follows sections of the Coomera River past numerous cascades and smaller waterfalls before returning to Binna Burra.

Shorter Option

Visitors short on time can walk to the Coomera Falls Lookout and return via the same route. This option is approximately 9.8 kilometres return and generally takes around 3 hours.
